Clydesdale / Suburbia building

A sneak peek of the works currently being carried out inside the ex-Clydesdale/Suburbia building in the High Street.

This project is now well underway and aims to revitalize and transform this long vacant building.

South Ayrshire Council Leader Bill McIntosh said:

“This substantial grant will help Ayr Renaissance breathe new life into one of the town’s most prominent buildings. Built in 1844 the landmark property has been empty for several years and is currently on the Buildings at Risk Register for Scotland. We’ll be considering how the grant fits into the wider regeneration of the town centre in the coming weeks as part of our ongoing commitment to maximise the impact of available opportunities.”
